Day 4 - Introduction to China @ 11:11:00 PM
Beginning in the morning, we started off with our class differently. Why differently?
That because we had our very first OIE Lesson conducted by the WUST lecturer~! That was also the reason why I put my title as "Introduction to China"
Our OIE Lecturer teaching
It was kind of different be it the attitude, the teaching style and etc. Maybe that is because of our different culture. Why do I say so???
In China, chances of student studying in University is not very high. As such, they really make use of the chance they had an study hard for it. Therefore during lesson, most student will be paying very attentive to the lecturer.
In Singapore, chances of student studying is high. Most kids no matter poor or rich will be ensure a place in any of the school with least of 10 years of education. As such, we are less appreciative of this which resulted in us talking and not paying attentive to the lecturer.
Therefore I felt that we should learn to give more respect to our lecturer and also to treasure our chance of being able to study. =)
Overall the whole day was quite normal, as most of us were tired therefore many of us did not really go out to have fun but instead most of us stay at their own room resting and doing some other stuff. As for me ~ I can't stay in my room for the whole day, luckily those new friends that I know in China ask me out for a badminton game and indeed we had lot of fun together.

Reflection
I learn that our attitude towards studies should be like those China student. Due to the competitiveness in their campus and also the lack of chance to study. Most student in China treasure their opportunities and study very hard for it. But in Singapore, we were the opposite, due to a very good education system we have, most people do not treasure studying a lot. Most of us just put "play" as their number 1 priority. As such, I learn to change my mindset, learning to treasure what I have and knowing how bless am I to be in Singapore. Today, was really an eye-opener for me even though I was in the campus almost the whole. =D
That where we had our wonderful dinner ~ Thank Ms Hock and Mr Chia =D
