Day 11 to 13 - 長江三峽大壩 @ 11:38:00 PM

Wondering how am I going to start this blog, that because the things that I seen is so hard to describe through words and pictures.

For the pass 3 days, the school organize a trip on a cruise along the Yangtze River also known as 长江. This trip will take us through the Power station lock, 3 Gorges Dam lock, 3 Gorges, Wu Mountain, the White Emperor City and then the 3 Gorges Dam.

Among all, what amazing me is the 3 Gorges Dam Lock and the 3 Gorges Dam itself....
Even though, it is not one of the wonder of the world, but yet when I see it there is a "wow" that came into my mind.

I remember initially when the ferry passes through the lock, it doesn't really amazing me as I have seen video on lock before. To me it was just a experience tour on a real thing, having the real feeling on how lock really works. But on the third day, when we was brought to the 3 Gorges Dam, it totally just change my mindset.

Having seen the locks is not enough, as it is just a small portion of it. When seen the entire project...it will then really amaze you. Seeing the entire project, knowing how the idea came about and the reason for building it really deepen your knowledge and make you impress upon it.

I can't denies that building this dam will destroy the environment, but yet building this can save many lives too. As this main purpose of the dam is to prevent flood around the area. Therefore it up to us to see which side are we standing on ~ now let me show the beautiful photos that I took throughout this 3 days ~ =D

Reflection
Actually what I wrote above is somehow like my reflection. Throughout this whole trip, I kind of lower my expectation a lot as most of my friends feedback from the past batches was quite bad. But never did I thought that 3 gorges will amaze me that much. This actually taught me that never listen to what others say about it before you really seen it with your own eyes. Because is your eyes that will show you the truth!
